A wet phosphoric acid production process comprising the attack on phosphate rock by sulfuric acid and phosphoric acid utilizing a vacuum cooling and a recirculation of the reaction slurry. The flow rates of the materials within the system are maintained at a level, relative to the rate of withdrawal of the slurry from the system, of between 300% and 4000% for the cyclic flow, between 2000% and 4000% for the vacuum cooling flow and between 500% and 2200% for the local agitation flow. Claims (1) [1] METHOD FOR PRODUCING PHOSPHORIC ACID, including treatment of crushed phosphate feedstock with reverse phosphoric and sulfuric acids in the zones' decomposition during recycling of the reaction suspension, vacuum cooling of the suspension, crystallization of calcium sulfate, filtration of the suspension, separation of the precipitate of calcium sulfate, washing it with water and returning raw water and acid for processing raw materials as a reverse phosphoric acid slots, characterized in that, in order to reduce energy consumption for grinding raw materials in the processing of various types of raw materials, h 300-4000% of the reaction slurry from the mass of the slurry entering the filtration is recirculated through the decomposition zone; 2000-4000% of the recirculated slurry from the mass of the slurry entering the filtration is recycled to the vacuum cooling zone, and 500 to 2200% are recirculated in each decomposition zone suspension from the mass of suspension entering the filtration.
